For quite a few generations of people now, acne treatments have always been a major presence in the individual and collective social consciousness. Almost as far back as the dawn of broadcast, be it radio or television, it seems that there were already advertisements that boast of the miraculous healing properties of some remedy or another. The presence of advertisements for acne treatment and prevention medications and concoctions was no doubt present far earlier than that in the printed media. Of course by virtue of the era and the relatively meager scientific and medical resources available then compared to today, not to mention the general lack of solid information regarding acne treatment, many of these remedies were nothing more than a harmless concoction at best and at worse they could actually cause serious injury and permanent disfigurement.

Acne Mechanica is the name of the acne you may get when your skin is under pressure, is undergoing friction, is covered or is exposed to heat. Does it ever seem like once you get rid of acne, pimples, zits, or blemishes another one appears? They usually appear when you have somewhere special to go. Actually, there isn’t a good time for a blemish to appear. When acne appears the first thing you want to do is get rid of it as soon as possible.
